One and a half hour far from Bangkok, there is a place where you can go with your family, friends or your lover. Jed – Khot is located in Kaeng – koi district, Saraburi province where you can go only 100 baht per person by van from Victory Monument. And after that you have to ask for a bus to get there. Taking not too long, you will be arrived at Jed Khot Pong Kon-sao Education Center Saraburi Thailand. You have to register first at the visitor center and if you want to rent a tent, homes or buy anything you can also go there. About activities, biking and walking along the road are great! But going inside the forest to see truly nature is so incredible. Waterfalls, bird-watching are good choices though! If you have a chance to go there do not miss barbecue at night and watch the sun rises in the morning. A cheap, not crowded and charm place to go.
Very serene and not so commercially exploited spot with a huge lake and decent accommodation available. Camping site. Waterfall nearby.
Situated in Saraburi Province, a beautiful campground overlooking a lake, full of fish & turtles.Upon arrival you have to register at the visitor centre, which is situated next to a small shop, supplying a few essentials you may require, such as ice or water. We arrived quite early, so we were able to have a fairly good choice of where we wanted to erect our tent & decided to set up back from the Lake & under cover of the trees, to attempt to stay cooler during the day. Be warned that it soon fills up with tents & even more so adjacent to the Lake, where most people appeared to want to be.The 2 days we stopped, soon became busy with people, but still it remained fairly quiet & we didn’t get disturbed by loud music, which has happened in other Parks we have visited. The toilet/shower blocks were cleaned frequently, as was the undercover area, for cleaning of your dishes. The lady who cleaned these areas did a fantastic job.We brought our own camping equipment, but you can also rent everything you require & there we also rooms to rent. You aren’t permitted to drive your car onto the site, but there are many trolley’s available, so you can transport your equipment to & from your vehicle. On the whole we enjoyed a wonderful peaceful & relaxing couple of days.
Seven-dots, pebbles, a reserve house, and a tent patio. The atmosphere is great. We booked a house for four people, two double beds, a dishwasher, a fridge, and a table to eat, a bed change and a shabu-shabu-grilled kitchen.
