Make your way to Lanta Art, market place in Saladan, Koh Lanta. They can always make what you want, but do not hesitate to let the painter have free hands. We have several paintings with hidden messages in them, amazing to have them on our wall back home in Sweden. And just so you know, it is really easy to get them shipped or rolled up to take on the flight home. If you regret not getting one, you can always email and order afterwords. We are totally sold and have just picked up number 4 to put on our wall back home.
The “lanta art” gallery is an excellent place to find a great style of drawing .We buy in vacation 2 pictures for our home in Germany. In Germany we contact mitree and ordered one more picture He send so fast to us here in Germany I can only say perfect In painting In service Thank u so much
We visit Lanta Art Gallery every time we come to Kho Lanta and are always delighted and surprised by the fantastic original art that Mitree and his lovely wife produce. Over the years my friends and I have bought many paintings from them and I still get constant pleasure from mine at home. Mitree paints amazing abstracts which are intriguing and colourful. I have two which he painted to an exact size for me to fit a space in my lounge. His wife is an expert at painting beautiful detailed pictures of people, animals and can copy from a photo really precisely, bringing the subject to life.If you are in Saladan it is well worth visiting the artists at work.
We came in contact with Mitree Dumsry, the owner and artist of Lanta Art Gallery a while ago. He had just opened for the season so we went to his gallery in Saladan a coupe of days ago and selected two acrylic/oil original paintings for hanging in the Malee house. Check out his Facebook page on Lanta Art Gallery, you can order and get it shipped back home as well. We are looking to buy more of his work for our house in Thailand and in Sweden as well!
We have bought two beautiful Pictures in this Gallery. Shipping was fast and successfully in Germany. Very friendly Artist and we will buy more of this kind of Art. So , look at my Pictures;) With best regards Rick Martin
We have been many places looking for beautiful paintings and we finally found it at lanta art. It is really good. Bought 2 pcs. ??
Koh Lanta is the perfect place to wind down after some days in Bangkok. We’d recommend Long Beach: a wonderful. sandy beach with bars and restaurants directly on the beach where you can hang your feet in the water meanwhile eating lovely Thai food. I’d recommend also a scooter trip around the island (200 Bhat per day), visiting Koh Lanta Old Town – a lovely warm but bit touristic place and the Elephant Sanctuary (no riding!). The trip is easily done in a day and a good alternative to hanging off at the beach whole days. Water was around 28 degrees celsius, leece exist but you can fight them with a cream from 7Eleven. Water is not endless shallow but you can swim after 10 meters into the sea. colour is turquoise and what some call paradise. If it ever rains, it does in the night or very early morning and you will hardly recognize in the outside temperativeOn Christmas Eve the restaurants will cool you special dinners and decorate even more (for those who find 5 colour LED lights beautiful, it is a paradise). Visit Koh Lanta art, which is good priced but reasonable and unique and loverly motives. We stayed in Koh Lanta Beach Resort, pretty much the first lodge on Long Beach coming from Saladan, and we can recommend it. Friendly, clean, air-co and good breakfast with a view to paradise. Loved Koh Lanta and the whole package you get.
