Khao Kriap Cave is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Moo 4 Bankaun, Thailand
Khao Kriap is a hill just off the main highway. There is a very simple temple with just one monk when we visited. A concrete stairway of about 300 steps leads to the cave. There is one big chamber with some natural light from holes in the ceiling, but bring a good flashlight to see the cave properly. There are some very nice stalactites and stalagmites plus other features, as well as a statue of the Buddha. Great views over the countryside from the stair way. Well worth a visit if you are driving through the province. Do bring a donation for the temple if you plan to stop here.
