10 thoughts on “West Wonder Waterpark

  1. Admissin fee a bit steep for what they have to offer; OK for small children; not much for adults.Nice family-type place

  2. We had the entire water park to ourselves which was pretty cool. The entry fee was more than I would’ve thought but I can’t complain too much

  3. Bit of a let down but ok for the price lots of staff most of them sitting around eating or on there phones water looked dirty but ok to swim lot of the park closed of and only few sun beds around food options a big let down looks like u can take your own food in wish i new as there really was only crisps and that sort of snake on sale The Thai people that were there had all brought there own food Ok afternoon out as the kids loved it but really better of staying around the hotel pool

  4. This park was empty and there was a lot of bird poop in some of the pools. The paint from the pool also turned our feet blue and several of the slides were not running.

  5. Just pass a very wonderfull day at this waterpark. It was a beautifull sunny day perfect to play in the water. The slides were very amusing, some for kids some for adults. Their some food to sell, got my belly full there too. Not too many people, a place to discover, not a lot of advertissement for it. Quite recent build park. Absolutely worth it to stop by if your in Kanchanaburi area.

  6. Pretty empty as other reviews noted, but we had a great time. Being empty doesn’t bother me. The slides are fun and the big orange one is a huge drop and truly thrilling. We stayed nearby and you could walk to it and the admission was included. If you spend a few days at this area worth killing the end of afternoon on a hot day.

  7. This is a great place to spend half a day, especially if you take children. The place was virtually deserted at 15:00 and we enjoyed a great couple of hours playing on the slides and splashing about in the pools. There are slides and fun things for all ages, but when we were there the two largest slides (one looks positively vertical) were closed. Didn’t really matter to us, but if you’re really after that thrill ride, there are still 3 high spiral slides which are great fun. The seeming lack of visitors could explain why one or two areas need a little maintenance and if you’re planning on having lunch note that there are only a few food outlets at present. Don’t let these small quibbles put you off, though. It’s a great place for a morning or afternoon.

  8. We visited the park twice. THe first time we had some issues with a few locals that wouldn’t leave our bags alone and hence we ended up having to take turns to sit right next to our stuff to avoid any theft. The next time we came however, it was much more chilled (no loud music like the previous day and no people running around fully dressed going through peoples things). We had a blast going up and down slides both the little kids ones and the bigger kids ones. There was only one slide closed which wasn’t an issue. Our 3 yr old was allowed to ride on all apart from the tallest/most dangerous 2 at the top bearing in mind that she was only allowed as long as she could go on her own as you can only go one person at a time (not a problem for her though). THe little kids areas are great too, bear in mind though that the one area for the smallest kids doesn’t have a lot of splashing water which means the slides etc don’t get that wet so you can get burned when you touch them because of the sun. We stuck to the play area for medium sized kids for the reason and also made the little one wear swim shoes so she wouldn’t burn her feet.

  9. Oh how things can change so quickly. It’s clear that since its first opening, absolutely nothing has been spent on maintenance and cleaning. The forced closure from March to September couldn’t have helped, either. There are new owners, but they’ve only just taken it on. My advice would be to close it, clean it up, get everything working, then open it. It’s a disgrace to charge at all, let alone a pitiful reduction from the normal full price. The place is currently a health hazard and I wouldn’t advise anyone to go, especially with little kids. There is green algae growing on the floor around the pools and slides, bits have broken off and are floating on the surface, the swim pool around the water park is green, murky, and utterly filthy, and any health and safety inspection would have the place shut down. I wouldn’t have minded a nominal entrance fee but at least 50% of the slides are closed, they state they are no lockers and in one area there are only female toilets which everyone has to use. Thankfully, it wasn’t busy, we kept our mouths closed, and got out almost as quickly as we got in, with no lasting effects.
