A big supermarket in the center of town. Selling various products with local price. Service is good.
Shopping is ok here if u got things to. Uy. 2nd floor There’s a supermarket. 5th floor there’s a food court. The stalls may look unappealing but the food is good. The 1st stall at the corner serves the pork boat noodles. Very good broth and good portion. Can share 2 people. 2 stalls away serves zichar. You can order basil pork or chicken rice and she cooks on the spot fresh for you. Chicken rice also good. Same owner. The coconut is only 40baht, same as on the street but great comfort to sit around and rest and have a nice drink. There’s a stage and some of the tourists mainly Malaysian took to the stage and croon the oldies.
If you intend to get the local snacks, snake powder and soaps make sure you head over to Odean to get. They sell in bundle of 2 per pack and give great discounts. You literally get the cheapest snake powder in town as you pay THB67 for a big and small cans of snake powder. Many many more for to explore 😉
The building is quite old. The products are cheap. almost got discounted 10-30%There is big supermarket that you can buy snack shampoo soap as well as gift.take only 2-3 minutes walk from Lee Garden shopping street or from Central Hat YaiThere is local coffee shop that open in the morning open 7.00 am
The mall is well air conditioned so it is a welcomed break from the heat. There is a good variety of locally made goods along with the usual mall stuff. There is also a market there to pick up anything you might have forgotten to bring.
This shopping mall has been there too long and on normal days, there are no crowds especially when there are no special promotions. But when there is a Big Sale, its really worth going there to get your bargains.
I have visited this mall only twice; in 2003 and 2020. The contrast between the visits could not be more stark. Like a stricken ship on the high seas, the rusty, tired Odean Mall appears ready to sink at any moment. The shops are limited, customers are scarce, and the staff stand around looking bored with nothing much to do. In one sad corner, there was one shopkeeper minding six shops at once with nobody else in sight. There is a food court upstairs which doubles as a karaoke lounge, which is kind of quirky, but overall the place is sad and tired. There is so much competition in Hat Yai, with Central Festival, Central Plaza, Big C Mall and half a dozen night markets. Odean Mall is losing the battle. Only worth going to if you’re staying very close by. Not worth a special trip.
Much like most of hat yai, this mall is old and run down. Starbucks seem to be the prominent tenant here. This place probably suffers more now than ever due to lack of malaysian tourists from covid
It’s amazing how much underwear is on display/for sale in Hat Yai. I gave in and bought some here. The salesperson was helpful, but otherwise this was quite interesting shopping
Most items value for money. Free parking with min 50THB purchase from this mall. Awesome pork leg rice at 5th floor food court. Also other food stalls selling drinks and other food items.
