10 thoughts on “Soi Bintabaht Walking Street

  1. This once thriving walking street is now almost deserted. About half the bars and shops are closed. Only a handful of people visit it on any given night. Soi 80 is where you’ll find a lot of bars, nightclubs and girls looking to entertain you. Skip Bintabaht and go to Soi 80 if you want to have fun.

  2. Walking street is gradually coming back after the pandemic. Sad to see there are still a dozen or so bars closed but those that remain are busy during high season. Red bar at corner of walking street and Poonsuk is a large veranda bar area open to the street. Their staff are super friendly (not a girlie bar) the music at a quiet level and they have live music Saturday nights. Other places will deafen you within minutes so bring ear plugs if you can’t stand jet engine level music. The girlie type bars can be a little overpowering trying to get you in, but “hey handsome” or “hi sexy” seems to snag quite a few guys with their egos

  3. An absolute shambles of a place. It clearly has not recovered from the aftermath of Covid. What bars were open were dim and dreary. Warm and expensive beer. Just not worth the effort. A very dingy backstreet nothing like the walking streets of Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket or other locations,

  4. This isn’t Bangkok or Phuket it’s not a major tourist destination therefor this bar strip is very quite. There were more lady boys then tourists when I visited ?. If your looking for cheep beer, pool tables and lady boys this is your street. If not avoid.

  5. It’s a relatively small street with a good mix of bars. Like all these places each bar seems to crank up the volume every half an hour, until is all one big noise!

  6. “During my one and a half month tour of Thailand from January 22nd to March 9th, 2024, one of the highlights was the four-day trip to Hua Hin. Hua Hin’s Soi Bintabaht night market is truly amazing. You can stroll around, buy drinks like beer or soft drinks, and even enjoy live music at some bars. The prices are reasonable, with soft drinks costing around 50 THB and beer priced at approximately 150 THB.I don’t take beer but I went at WHITE HOUSE Bar & Bistroand buy one soft drink and sit there to enjoy music”

  7. This is a dingy bars alley with numerous bars and even more ladies trying to lure you in.We walked the entire alley for 5 minutes and left as soon as we could, as the sleaze factor was too much for us.

  8. Sadly only downside is like all Hua Hin bars they all close at MidnightSo no good for UK Football or Boxing that is televised early hours of Morning It’s definitely not Soi 4 Nana in Bangkok or even Bui Vien Street in SaigonBut plenty of bars to choose fromYou’ll find one you like

  9. Interesting place! Some good eating areas and plenty of bars to choose from. We liked the birdie bar as the people there were very friendly.

  10. if you want to view single old European men being charmed by young Thai women this is the street for you. we were there out of season and its just a sad place; an indictment on Western society.
