Lovely beach you have to cycle over the military base. Never did that before. Clean and good food as well.
Ao Manao is located in the Air Force Wing 5, Koh Lak Subdistrict, Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan District. Prachuap Khiri Khan Province It is a clean, beautiful beach, clear water, good atmosphere, suitable for relaxing with family. Swimming in the sea because it is not deep or walking along the beach, eating wind and enjoying the view When the tide is low, a long sandbar will appear for you to walk and visit. There are many seafood restaurants to choose from, there are many toilets and showers, and there are also accommodations for tourists.
This place is a place for tourists to visit, see the sea, have good food, have a beautiful view to take pictures to choose from, and at the festival time there will be an airplane show.
I loved this city, I stayed at a guesthouse the whole time about two blocks from the ocean. I loved the street food, and the inexpensive lifestyle Thailand affords. I highly recommend this city.
902 ft climb to a Spectacular view that is a rewarding struggle that can take about 45 min. took us 1.5 hours because of so many people. This site is only open on special days of the year so please check their website for dates. Some recommendations, drinking lots of water, a pair of gloves, and shoes for climbing (an early start is good as it can be hot in Thailand). What say You!!
It’s a fantastic beach situated at a airforce base. Open hours 08am-06pma lomng beach with many wendors selling food and renting out sun chairs. Have a lot of natural shadow under trees but also beach umbrellas by the sun chairs.
I had originally come here to climb khao lom muak, but it was closed to public access, so I just visited the monkey monument instead. The monkeys are very friendly, as it’s clear that they have been fed by humans and are not at all afraid. I did not feed them, but other people did. Be aware that although they mostly took food gently, there were a few that jumped on people’s backs when competition heated up. Be advised, you must bring your passport and leave it with the military guard (a very friendly young man, by the way). There is a toilet block near the monument, but it’s not well marked. Cost is 5b. All in all, if you coming by motorbike to Ao Manao, the monkey monument is worth a 15 minute stop, but it’s not really worth a special trip. Hopefully next time I’m in town I’ll be able to climb the mountain. The road from Ao Manao through the base to the monkey monument is quite scenic, but be aware there are signs posted all along the road saying taking photographs is prohibited. Same goes for both scenic bays around the monkey monument.
The beautiful Ao Manao beach is situated within the very expansive Wing 5 Air Force base. Military personnel are very welcoming and helpful. The beach is a beautiful half moon bay. Absolutely stunning. Beach chairs are 20 baht each and as well as food outlets you can ride ATVs, try archery and visit some very tame and friendly lemurs- take some bananas or peanuts to feed them with. You can spend a great day at Ao Manao on Wing 5.
Nice and clean long beach you can run walk or swim. Not far away from city . There are many local delicious food in the city and many seafood.
Really nice beach with less people ! Hotel offered basic amenities but breakfast buffet was phenomenal. Would recommend to anyone who wants privacy!
