  1. There are much better sights in Lopburi – especially the mountains and the beautiful orange, yellow and red flowering trees. The Thais seem enamoured with sun flowers perhaps because of the paucity of flowers in general other than those grown for garlands.

  2. My old school mates and I had a mini reunion in BKK and visited the Lopburi sunflowers fields. It was a glorious day. Hot, bright and sunny morning perfect for photography. We each bought one of those catchy travel the world T-shirts from Platinum shopping mall for our field trip. The sunflowers fields was worth the long travel (3 hours from BKK City). We bought honey sold at the field and had it with our lunch. Also the fragrant sunflower seeds was delicious. It is very encouraging to see enterprising locals. But one sight that spoilt this beautiful place is the lady that was selling birds/sparrows trapped in a cage. That was sad. Overall, highly recommended trip if anyone is in BKK mid November.

  3. Unbelievably, we were expecting to go through such a thrilling journey hunting for the blooming and picturesque sunflower fields around Saraburi and Lopburi province. Our emotions liked going through a “roller coaster” ride with our local guide and driver. After leaving Ayutthaya historical park, we headed to Saraburi to find the appropriate blooming sunflower fields that have mountain on the backdrop, just like many reviewers’ photos taken in Trip Advisors. Well, our local guide was very determined to find the best ones for us so they drove my family ( with my spouse and 2 kids) into somewhere between Lopburi and Saraburi, traveling from proper road to track to no track, from fields beside the road to the bushes. For that moment, the MPV was jerky and we were so worried that the vehicle might just break down there. And from the bright sunlight to the cloudy weather to drizzling ones to the slight sunlight. OMG! I was thinking how on earth I would be seeing the sunflower fields with such a weather and we were “lost” as we could not see where we were in the goggle map with no road name or location name. Nevertheless, huge kudos to our local guide’s sheer perseverance, we found our way back on a proper road. Gradually the sunlight’s turned brighter, finally we reached somewhere in Wang Muang and found the vast and beautifully blooming yellow hues on the sunflower fields at almost 5pm. Luckily, the sunlight was still strong and the sunflowers were “smiling” to the West. My kids were super gladdened and moved inwards to get near more bloomed sunflowers. Looking at this vast land with the hills behind, I just felt very relieved, relaxed and happy that our first day to Thailand was a success. But I never expect to have such close shave and unique encounter to find the sunflower fields. After gingerly reading through the map, I would strongly advise to go via highway no.2 to Muak Lek and head towards Wang Muang areas. Coming from highway no. 1 and no.21 are really “mad” unless you want to go through what I thrillingly experienced. As a whole, we were luckily to find the free ( no charge) blooming sunflowers fields as we could see some sunflowers fields had cut down the sunflowers. Another sincere advice is that you should get an experienced local guide and a driver to bring you there. Unknowingly and interestingly, our pants were filled with the yellow pollens. Please remember to wear a good covered shoes to walk through soiled paths in the fields. Frankly, I also found it challenging to find a proper place that we can review this special sunflower fields encounter in Saraburi province and there would not have a fixed address as the sunflower fields spread across many provinces.

  4. It’s clean and clear.. No sunflower at all.. Nothing to see and to do.. Just start to regrow the sunflower.. Some place still dirt and dust..

  5. Our driver found this Sunflower Field near Phathana some distance away from Sanburi,. It is a big farm and we have to pay a small fee to enter to take photos. On the day we were there the weather was very good, sunny but cool so we can spend more time to explore the place. The sunflowers are in full bloom and was so beautiful. When we came out from the farm, they have a small shed selling fruits, sunflower seeds, honey, nuts, drinks and some local products. It was a very interesting experience. We all had fun and really enjoyed ourselves. I would encourage those who are there between the months of November to January should make a trip to the farm.

  6. I went to Saraburi Sunflower Fields, i try to google map on the Address: Chong Sarika, Phatthana Nikhom District, Lopburi 15220, Thailand, then the map brought us there. Our visit time was good as it is the season and we can see pretty Sunflower. I had my profile picture shoot there. The day is sunny and that is best for photo shoot.

  7. Beautiful sunflowers against the mountain backdrop. We visited on 6/1/20. 20 baht per person entry fee and 20 baht for a small packet of sunflower seeds. Beware of the lady passing the milk bottles to young children to feed the goats at 20 baht per bottle without asking the parents.

  8. Large sunflower field still some blooming, good view and photo opportunity, can buy sunflower seeds, drinks available, enjoyed, not much except flowers, off road, if you miss need 2 U turns

  9. Beautiful blooms in December, with solat at Saraburi Mosque and excellent halal local cuisine at Ban Zayid in Saraburi. MasyaAllah. We left Sukhumvit Bangkok at 9.30am and arrived at 1pm. With elderly on board, excellent driver made 2 stops for us at super clean rest stops

  10. Thought the place will be quiet and deserted but quite a few people there despite we went down on a weekday morning. Must visit before lunch before sunflower dies.
