  1. Excellent zoo at a great price. The zoo is a good size with a wide variety of animals.Great place to bring the family.

  2. Cheap to enter, then hir either golf cart or bicycle to trail around(ID required) the wild cat area was impressive, but the rest wasn’t up to much. Animals appeared to be well looked after

  3. I always visit local Zoos when ever I travel. You get to see the local additions to the traditional animals as well as seeing how the locals react (particularly the children) to the different animals.

  4. I really like the baht buses in Thailand. In Pattaya, you can get across town from the dophin roundabout to Walking Street for 10 baht (25p). In Korat, it’s even cheaper. An inner-city ride costs only 8 baht (20p) and the long 45-minute ride out to the zoo only came to 20 baht (50p). At the entrance our temperatures were checked for fever/coronavirus in case we infected the animals. For a “farang”, a ticket costs 150 baht (just under £4). As the zoo is spread out, there are several transport options: bikes, a circular hop on/hop off bus and little golf-style buggies but we preferred to stretch our legs despite the heat. I liked best the deadly snakes (pythons, kraits, vicious cobras), the majestic white lion, the spectacular flamingos and the lively monkeys. At least they looked happy here compared to the rampaging gangs of monkeys which had become viral video stars in nearby Lopburi, fighting for food because of the lack of tourists as a result of coronavirus. It was a long walk round but the grounds are very pleasant with their tropical plants and there are plenty of stalls selling ice cream and cold drinks. There’s usually a public swimming pool too but that was closed for cleaning. Well worth a visit!

  5. Is a large open space zoo, well outside the city limits. You will need a taxi or car to get there.Expect to pay extra for the waterpark (which is great for a young family) and carnival type kids rides. When at the zoo there is a hop on hop off open bus however it only allows you only circuit so you are better off getting a bike to ride and do things at your pace. The bikes are charged by the hour There is an abundance of free range and caged Bambi for the predators. The zoo exhibits include English descriptions.

  6. A lot of animals, good for children taking studying animal life. Nice time for family activities ie cycling, swimming, walking, sightseeing.

  7. A very nice place for sightseeing with good environment. Good managements for cleanliness, natural look, etc. Nice for every age and any time.

  8. Stayed at Zoo Lagoon Bungalows and loved both zoo and water park. We had a big komodo dragon living under our bungalow. Loved driving a golf cart around the zoo. We cant wait to go back.

  9. This is a decent zoo. Big with good internal transportation options – tram, bicycle, golf cart. Highlight for us were the tiger feeding sessions. Getting a Grab car back to town is tricky and we had to ask the zoo for help to call a taxi back.

  10. The animals are well cared for and the grounds are maintained nicely. We rented a tricycle which had a problem so they replaced it with a family bike which was fun to drive around. The meerkats were a highlight.
