Chai Chet Beach is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 23170, Thailand
I love Chaichet beach, it is my favoriteit is not too touristy and there are only a few resorts along the beach. There are beautiful trees to get a bit of shade, and the beach is clear. There are two rivers at each end.You can also walk along the promenade of the Chai Chet Resort (north side of the beach) up to the rocks, there is a little pier to walk on, it is gorgeous.I also love the village of Chai Chet, it is simple but you have everything.
Situated at the northern end of Klong Prao beach, the sand is a little siltier and stonier, but it is charming. The headland offers magnificent sunsets, and there is also a walk through the woods. The whole area is most scenic.
Long white sand beach with very few people. We loved Chai Chet beach. Water was very warm. Mornings were very calm and the wind seemed to pick up a little in the afternoon. Early morning we saw crews cleaning up the beach which was nice as occasionally trash washed up. There are around six swings on the beach. Only issue was the jelly fish in the shallow shore area, they showed up one day and were there for the 4 days we were at the beach. Apparently they sting, so we just made sure to avoid them when heading into the water.
Khlong Prao is I believe the most beautiful beach in Ko Chang .So no doubt, a 5 star for this beach which is also the 2nd longest (after White Sand Beach) on Ko Chang.Why is it important?Because you can jog at sunrise and have a long relaxing and replenishing walk at sunset.There are plenty of restaurants along it as well as massages possibilities.We were there beginning on December and the beach was not overcrowded at all.One of the best beaches in Ko Chang if not the best.
Chai Chet is a small place but the beach is really nice not to busy clean and peaceful. We had a week here .
This is where the main beach ends and turns into a headland from where you can see magnificent sunsets. Sand at this end is interspaced with a small amount of rock and it is a little silty. There is good tree cover so it is a nice place to spend some time out of the sun. There are plenty of facilities, restaurants etc just roadside of the beach. Also a nice restaurant nearby that is right on the beach. The water is shallow and gently shelving so good for children.
Nice quiet place with good service and views, good food with delicious THAI specialities, they are very attentive and would like to give guests a good experience.
