  1. What a fabulous resort and island. Amazing place, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Spa soooo relaxing. Choice of 3 pools. Good choice of food in the restaurants. The only slight downside was part of the beach being busy during the day with boat trips. Book a trip for snorkelling round the island and venture out of the resort to try the local food. Can’t praise it highly enough.

  2. By far one of the prettiest beaches I’ve seen! It has all the ingredients for an amazing experience: looks very clean, beautiful clear water, white sands, amazing palm trees, enough places to grab some food and/or drinks and above all a great ambience and it’s less crowded that other beaches I’ve been too. You can even go snorkeling in the area or partake in other fun activities. Definitely recommend visit Racha Island ?

  3. Did a combo Racha, Coral island tour. Racha is a beautiful spot. The beach was very busy where we were dropped off due to all the tourists.

  4. Big white sand beach but little problem is small rock in water when tide is low. Colour water is tirquose. Too many boat and speed boat. No sunbeds and umbrella for hire. No shadow, this is big problem!!!

  5. Sadly, this paradise is semi spoilt by the cheer volume of boats that turn up and drop people off during the hours of 11am to 4pm. If you are staying on the island then best to stay in your resorts until the crowds have gone home at 4pm. After this, you can then enjoy this spectacular paradise with soft white sands and clear turquoise ocean. I really hope this doesn’t become another maya bay. Something needs to be done to protect this beautiful island.

  6. The most pristine beach we have ever visited and less than an hour from the mainland. We snorkeled off the boat in the front bay and saw the most beautiful corals and abundant fish in crystal clear water. After braving the very wobbly pontoon spliced together with plastic containers, we made it to the breathtaking beach with no crowds and only a few swimmers. A tractor ride across the island took us to the back beach which was very rocky and not suitable for beach swimming, but a brave glide over the rocks saw us out in even better snorkeling. Forget the high profile islands (especially Phi Phi), this is incomparable and the nicest island I have visited in Thailand. Get the cheapest transfer you can to get there via speedboat and maximise the time spent if travelling for the day.

  7. From the southern island of phuket you can reach this gorgeous island in 25 min. It is a perfect place for snorkelling and scuba divers with crystal clear waters and white sandy beach….Nature lovers should never miss this!

  8. What a lush beach!! Came here on a boat trip, the snorkeling just off the island wasn’t anything special as the water was too murky. The island however we had lunch followed by some downtime on the beach. None of us wanted to leave the lush waters

  9. We stayed one night at the Racha Resort on Koh Racha in March 2024. The resort provided free boat shuttle. The beach was beautiful after tourists left in the late afternoon. The water was clear. The island was well maintained. The sunset was amazing. We didn’t have time to explore the island. We swam at the beach and in the Racha’s swimming pool. I recommend two night stay at Koh Racha.

  10. Although this beach has boat after boat loads of people coming and going.. you can go further down away from the ramp to enjoy a little bit of peace.. a really nice place to stay. Relax and enjoy. Snrokelkng here was good and the ammount of fish was amazing. Nice quiet beach at the oppisite end. Me and the misses both allowes to wear thong swimwear and relax. Over all I would go back to this beach.
