Arranged VIP tickets through FB Messenger, free pickup from hotel included and payed on arrival at stadium. I was staying at Mai Samui Resort on West side of the island so was impressed that they sent a mini bus all that way. Mini bus was very clean and tidy with coloured lights inside, seat belts and good ac. We arrived 19:20 and were told to be back for 20:30 for the seating so had plenty of time to get a meal and drink in the nearby seafood court.Inside the seating was comfortable with cushions for VIP and there is a full bar service also operating with waitresses to fetch your drink. Evening boxing was very good with 6 bouts of 5 rounds each if full distance, you could also place bets with the slips being provided at the door. We left at the end at 23:00 and there was a fleet of taxis outside to get everyone home.A good night all in all.
No real fight, no blood, it looked like some kind of removal show. Was there with a group of friends, no one like it…
Fight night’s are busy, vibrant, loud and exciting all in one.If you dont like loudness then this is not a venue 4u.I paid extra for ringside @2000baht and it was definitely worth it as theres no waiting in lines, private waitress and drinks while you sit back and enjoy the action.
Fun evening. We didn’t understand the rules and why one fighter won over the other – unless there was a knock out (and there were 2 out of 6fights) – but it was very interesting to watch. It was 5 fights with guys and 1 fight with women and the women’s fight was one of the best! Real fights – not staged as other reviews say.We had “normal” seats for 1500 BHT. Great view as they are a bit raised. Come 30 minutes earlier to pick your seat of choice.
Booked normal seats at 1500B pp after reading various reviews. Arrived 30mins early for tickets and to get a good seat. Venue professionally run with plenty of friendly security and staff on hand. Got great seats. Crowd a good mix of tourists and locals. Announcer and DJ set the tone for the crowd which was fairly lively. Waiting staff brought drinks and snacks to you with the prices similar to local bars and restaurants. Toilets were clean with an attendant present. As for the 6 fights, 5 where very competitive, 2 KOs and 1 medical stoppage. I’m no expert on Muay Thai but these guys were out to put on a show and the fights were hard fought. Credit to all the fighters for getting in the ring. Plenty of taxis waiting outside to get everyone home safely. All in all a great evenings entertainment.
This was such a great experience. We did not buy VIP seats and did not feel that we had missed out on anything. In fact being higher up felt like we got to see more. It is authentic, traditional, noisy and interesting. A bar and food is available as well as at seat service. Tickets included two food/water tickets with alcoholic drinks at a reasonable price. Easy to get into and lots of taxi’s at the end to get back to the hotel. The announcements are done in both Thai and English.
We had a totally brilliant evening here watching the boxing. You can get drinks inside and outside the stadium. If you want a little comfort get ringside seats. Really enjoyed it, and the family restaurants outside the stadium were great
Well organised and good fun. We can with 3 kids (two teens and a nine year old.) it was a good cultural experience and we enjoyed the evening – something different.
Unfortunately we arrived later than expected and missed the start. Upon arrival we were kindly greeted and needed to pay cash for entry. Unfortunately we were unable to do this however, they made arrangements so we could pay via card for a 4% fee. After sorting entry, due to being late into the evening events we were very kindly upgraded to ringside. This was a great experience and something definitely worth experiencing whilst in Koh Samui! Service and facilities were great. When leaving if you order a Grab, our driver was waiting right by the exit where he met us and walked us over to his taxi for a swift getaway.
Went here on a Wednesday night for a Muay Thai event. Venue was decent. We paid 2000 BHT for ringside seats which I didn’t think was worth it as our view was partially blocked by one of the judges head. You don’t get any drinks included which is poor. The fights were good and that’s what you go for!
