This has been a great way to spend Christmas Day 2024! Chaiya picked us up at 6:50a.m. and it was one gift followed by another. He was jolly, friendly, and caring. Our vehicle was comfortable and perfect to get some shuteye while we journeyed around. Chaiya was always one step ahead of what we needed and made certain we saw and did everything as easily as possible. He also took the most amazing photos in the right places. We got real value for our money on this Christmas Day. Thank you Chaiya!
Great tour. Definitely worth the private tour guide. The railway and floating market tour is a very busy destination and going on a group tour will be very stressful. I have many tours booked with forever vacation while i visit Bangkok i recommend this company.
This was a terrific tour that covered two beautiful temples as well as the railway and floating markets. We loved the pacing of the day and felt like we were able to see a wonderful range of things. In particular, Wat Sam Phran was a unique add-on to the whole experience. Palm was a fantastic guide – he shared so much knowledge with us throughout the day with warmth and kindness. We learned so much and loved spending time with him! Would highly recommend this to anyone who has even just a few days in Bangkok!

This is an interesting tour, now mostly geared towards tourists. Our guide took us first to the Maeklong Railway and market. It may have been a passenger train at one time but it is now geared almost exclusively towards the tourists, both on and off the train. The shopkeepers on either side of the train track are used to the drill and they make sure their awnings are put away within minutes of the train arriving and going past them walking on the narrow footpath next to the train track is no mean feat, especially as the area is packed with tourists. Walking on uneven footpath let alone the railway sleepers is challenging to less mobile people. The shops sell the usual kitschy souvenirs and as is common amongst tourists these days fast foods and drinks. The guide then took us to the railway station where the train starts and ends its routine several times a day for the benefit of the tourists. We were then taken to an historic park where Thais used to practice Muay Thai (kick boxing) but it is no longer used for that but just an historic place. There is a small historic temple where you can make some offerings and prayers. Unfortunately there are also some animals in small enclosures who look quite poorly fed and are very skinny. You can buy some feeds for these horses, camels, sheep and goats etc. as well as feed some fish in a nearly canal. We then went to the floating market, again catering to the tourists nowadays. There are almost 2 sections, the first section is more or less on wider canals where “the shops” are spread around and the driver of the boat would slow down to see if we were interested in any of the items there. We are past that age, wanting kitschy souvenirs. We then entered the very narrow canal filled with numerous boats each manoeuvering to squeeze into this narrow canal lined again with food stalls, clothes, souvenirs etc as well as women selling food and fruit in their boats themselves. All in all an artificial view of Thai life style in Bangkok.
We were 4 couples from New Jersey, USA, that wanted a different experience when visiting Phuket. We did the evening Tour that included the walk with the Elephants as well as the Night Market. From start to finish, the people from Forever Vacations were great. Very professional communication, ease of booking and paying for the tour, and the great communication by our guide, Bessica, on the day of the tour when we were late to start due to the ship excursion ran a hour late (why we hate ship excursions). We can honestly say that our time on the beach with the elephants was the highlight of our 6 week / 2 cruise trip to Southeast Asia. The elephants were taking care of kindly, and they were kind and gentle themselves. Playing in the water with them and feeding them was indescribable. As was the trip to the Night Market. It was everything expected from watching YouTube videos, and then some. The food stall we picked, which cooked fresh seafood, was a winner. And the shops and people were enjoyable as well. All in all, a fantastic experience that shall never be duplicated. Thank you, Forever Vacation, and special thanks to Bessica for a job well done!
