Amazing tour-Amazing guide and Amazing company.!!Me and my husband took the tour with the off the beaten track on our holiday. We did only 1day trip. But we saw lots of places in the area. We are so happy we decided to book the tour with this company. Thanks to My friend in Bangkok who recommended this tour to us. When I looked at the website, it didn’t impress me at all. It looks not ready yet. But I love the name of the company then I called Jon. After talking , he came to pickup us at our hotel. Then took us to many places in Chiang Mai that we can not found by ourself. It’s absolutely AMAZING !! AND OFF THE BEATEN TRACK INDEED !A guide Mr. Jon was perfect guide on the day AND he not only friendly , funny and knowledgeable.But he VERY care of his clients every details such food and and drinks. We spent really wonderful day with this company ( Off the beaten track Chaing Mai ) and We highly recommended to everyone to looking for a nice tour company in Chiang Mai , run by locals. !We absolutely loved our day lots. Our bike in the old city and trek through the national park in the rain forest was fantastic and we have really unforgettable experiences along the day. Visit local coffee plantation, hill tribe village, paddy rice fields and farms. Guides spoke excellent English , were very friendly and informative we had learned lots from them both. A perfect mix of outdoor activities we requests. We are active people: We need bikes , hike and adventure. So this was a perfect day for us.Highly recommended… Never disappointed…!!!
These guys use quality gear, are very methodical about safety but have a joke along the way. We did the gold package today. Picked up in a decent air conditioned van, transferred to the location then set up to have fun.First thing my wife said at the end was lets go again!I would point out I have done a lot of work at heights in harnesses etc and these guys did not set a foot wrong all day. We were always clipped onto a safe point, they had clear communications between the guides and all the harnesses, lanyards and carabiners we in good shape.Do it.
We did the sunrise temple visit to Doi Suthep, with alms giving to the monks. Our guide, Sipohn, was lovely and friendly, and as an ex monk himself, very knowledgeable. This is an excellent tour and well worth getting up early for. There are other tours like this, but the experience you get from being guided around this deep part of Thai culture by such an experienced and exceptional person is hard to beat. Don’t miss out on this tour while you are in Chiang Mai!
I joined a sunrise tour to Doi Sunthep temple with James, an ex-monk, as the guide. It was a really interesting and informative visit. The best bit was hearing the monks chanting and participating in alms giving and blessing. And there was absolutely no one around – the serenity is worth it!
