i chanced upon this massage as it was rather away from the noise and the bustle of patong. It is actually next to the popular busy bangla street. I returned 2 x to this spa & massage place and truly impressed. The price is reasonable for it’s location, standard, and ambiance.I had a thai massage and another day for scrub, head and shoulder & body massage. The service level is good, not over whelming but warmth enough. the services are professional. the variety of services is good and overall the price is reasonable. the bath area is clean and overall the massage is great. nice cup of tea is served after massage. They also sell interesting spa products and the different types of organic tea like lemongrass.
Went for a 2hr scrub + massage + foot massage session for THB1,000. The masseuse had seasoned techniques and goodstrength to help knead my sore muscles. The masseuse was overly-thorough – my butt, inner thighs, chest, armpits had 27 years worth of dirt scrubbed off very cleanly and subsequently massaged, which led to slight awkwardness on my end. Nonetheless it was a very soothing session, my whole body felt so much better after the session. Great price and value. Do note that this place does not have private rooms, only beds separated by curtain partitions.
We were looking for a nice day spa to have a few hrs time at, found this place on trip advisor and the ratings were good so thought we would try it out! The first thing we were impressed by is the pricing. Some of the other spas are costing 3000baht for a 2hr package. And then some of the other places are cheap (400baht per hr) but they look dodgy or not relaxing. For 1000baht package I got a facial, foot massage and aromatherapy hot oil massage, total package 2hrs. I thought it was well worth it. So all 3 of us girls got our packages. I loved mine, the lady that did mine did it exactly to my liking and I even fell asleep! (One of the girls told me she could hear me snoring :p). My other friend got her package with a body scrub, aromatherapy massage and facial for 1000 baht as well for 2 hrs. She loved hers as well! We have visited today for another package again and I wish I had more time to visit before we leave but not enough time! The place itself is nice, not the most newest place, but it’s clean and well looked after. The newer places are the ones charging very high prices. If you want something affordable yet still luxurious, this is the place to go! Highly recommend it! They also sell their own oils, body scrubs and lotions for a very reasonable price! Must do if u want a good massage!
A def must visit spa when in the patong beach area. VERY inexpensive and a great Thai massage with good masseuses. With so many spas in the area, okay it safe and visit this one (with zero to no mark up)!
I have been going to Sovrana for many years now (even when they were opposite the beach before they moved to their present location). I come back every year to Thailand and this is the only spa I go to now. Best massages, nice & quiet, polite staff and no hassle. Their products are awesome and I always manage to restock and bring home at least a few bags of goodies.
We stopped here to have a manicure and pedicure done. Very disappointing. They collected the funds upfront (should have been my red flag). Then the staff does not understand a word of English, and the manicurist ended up doing damage to my wife’s nails from forcing the removal of a gel coat. The pedicure was not any better on my feet, with cold water used and questionable technique. Just avoid.
As this was close to our hotel, we chose this as our first massage in Thailand. It makes a good first impression right of the bat, as it has a sign in the window saying “no sex”. The massage was excellent, just as hard as need be with our sore backs.
We came here twice and wish we had found it sooner. It was clean and spa like, not like the typical massage places on the streets. It smelt good, was minimally but beautifully decorated, and they even played music (most massage places your in silence). There were four of us and we all loved our massages that much that we came back the following day. Next day was even better than the first as our therapists were already familiar with our problem areas. I would definitely recommend this spa.
Nice place but prices are a bit in the high side compared to other spas in the area…it’s good to search around a bit
