This is the latest Quan Spa addition situated in the new Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse. The spa is a little small as compared to other establishment in the Marriott-brand hotels, but make up with nice ambience, experienced masseurs and a very knowledgeable receptionist, Beu. Beu was very patient with my queries and she was able to recommend treatments to suit my needs. As expected, the prices you are paying in a hotel spa are much higher to those that you can find in the Bangkok streets. But treatments at this spa are professionally done and are worth the money.
I had the thai massage and it was one of the best massage experiences I’ve had. The spa is located on the 18th floor and the couples treatment room had a nice view. There’s a toilet/shower inside the treatment room with a safe to put your valuables in. The therapist was good and there are nice touches throughout the session (eg, use of aromatherapy and fragrance to add to the relaxation). I didn’t try the other facilities but apparently it has a relaxation area and steam room. Yes you can get much cheaper local massages (like 8-10 times cheaper and I have tried a bunch!), but at only approx $70USD for a 1 hr massage, it was well worth it.

Served by “Apple”, she worked knots out, flexed my body, & restored neck flexibility plus made my complexion glow.Left relaxed AND energized – plus totally soothed my arthritis. Quan Spa has beautiful tranquil decor, English fluent staff and luxe atmosphere.Cost 5000 bat ($148 US) – for over2.5 hours with dramatic results in a 5 star spa is great value. After I and my partner make a trip from north of Thailand (Chiangmai, Chiangrai) and then go back to Pattaya. After that a last 5 days in Bangkok we were stays in Marriott Bangkok Surawongse. We booked a spa for our special day (13th Anniversary) at Quan Spa from hotel. Spa was so great from beginning till end. Staffs who make spa for us very professional and very good quality product. And after finish. We got so special tea with small cake for our Anniversary. That was so great from Spa. Thank you so much for make our day more special.
I just had one of the top 5 deep tissue massages of my life. Kuhn Apple was my therapist, she was very professional, knew what she was doing and had just the right amount of pressure. Well worth the price. Highly recommend !
