  1. Went all the way there only to find out that reservations are taking place and the fight night is closed until further notice. I did check the MBK Facebook page beforehand but nothing is mentioned there.

  2. It’s huge.the mall is easily accessible.lot of attraction.i enjoyed it a lot.it is a must visit attraction whenever one goes to Bangkok.

  3. I messaged them because I am planning a trip soon. They promptly replied that there will be no planned fights until further notice. What a bummer. I suggest not visiting MBK unless you already plan to go there. Visit their Facebook for updates.

  4. I heard they changed it to once a month now, the dates vary therefore you have to follow their facebook page to stay updated. The fights are great! Exciting and top quality.

  5. MBK night market is one of the markets that you shouldn’t buy or eat although MBK shopping mall is the best place to do shopping in BKK. Foods at MBK Night market are very expensive but it is not worth to pay because they are not delicious. Most of meat curry are not fresh. Fruit juices, especially, are not reasonable prices. I suggest you that you shouldn’t visit MBK night market after MBK mall had been visited.

  6. A nice free event to get a taste of some real Thai fighting. Glad to have seen this, wish I had more time to see the more experienced fighters. Started at 6pm.

  7. It’s great because it’s free, so you can just walk by and catch a match. But don’t take this as a substitute for a real kickboxing match at Rajadamnern or Lumpinee, where half the show is the bettors in the stands who yell out for each knee in the bout! So if you want to watch Muay Thai kickboxing, go see the real thing!

  8. A few weeks ago, we went to one of the most popular shopping malls here in Bangkok ‘MBK Center‘. We went there basically just to look for some electronic stuffs and maybe some clothes. Those are the main thing they sell there at the place. Though, once we got there, first thing we saw just right at once of the entrances is a boxing ring! Seemed like it’s happening!! and yes, it did happen that night! How aweeeesome and how lucky!Believe it or not, I have been told that something like that Muay Thai we have just watched.. Anywhere else would cost you like 500-2000THB ($17-70) but here, the MBK Bangkok fight we’re costed none! It’s free!I know! It doesn’t sound so much for some of you but think about it, here in Thailand, the minimum salary basically just 15,000THB ($500) for those with the bachelor degree even! So, this is a super deal!I feel like it’s a good one also (I have some memories about these fights since I was a kid – My grandpa watched it on a television every weekend) There’re a lot of people, authentic Thai opening music and the way they pay respect to the teachers of this type of art at the beginning of the show. It’s every Wednesday from 6-9pm. at MBK Center! It will be just ideal for those who loves shopping as there’re 10 malls around or something and the area is totally one of the must-visits in Bangkok!

  9. Looks like the schedule has changed to every last Wednesday of the month (at least that’s what they told us at the information booth at MBK yesterday, anyway it was a regular Wednesday and there was no fight). Sorry to have missed it, looks like a great event and it’s free!

  10. What is not to like — free fight night twice each month. Seating starts from 17.00 with the first fight at 18.00. Much more professionally organised than expected
