Toured the city in an air conditioned van and saw the main tourist sights, the city is quite congested but it provided a way to see all and take photos in the limited time we had in Bangkok, next time I know where to go to spend more time!
Such a lovely dining experience. Food was yummy, service was great, show was interesting watching the different dances, cultural costumes, musical instruments etc. I would definitely recommend this to families and anyone.
Let me be clear, I have NOT been on this bus yet. The fare shown says 22.34 for 2 persons but when I tried to book a solo tour, I got another fare: 59.60.No thanks.
Got to take care of elephants by cutting their food, feeding them, giving them a bath. Suggestions would be for the company to use WhatsApp or LINE to communicate if running late or early (instead I got a call at the hotel and an email but didn’t see it until later). Also, would be nice to hear some information about elephants during the bus ride. Overall, it’s worth booking this tour.
was good saw the thailand goodness n the tuk tuk was zooming down the streets was certi. let me drive n we was on one weel at one point whipping it up
Brilliant day with elephants. Well informed by all the guides. Particularly enjoyed food on day. Angie our guide had a great sense of humour.
This place is a must visit when going to Thailand. So many activities, so many foods to enjoy. Suggested going here with your loved one.
The trip to the Elephant Sanctuary was well organized. We were picked up from the hotel on time and driven home at the end. The food was excellent, there were even vegan options and nut allergies or intolerances to spicy foods were taken into account upon request. We were allowed to make the food for the elephants and a typical Thai salad for ourselves. Care was taken to ensure that each elephant got the same amount of food. Every visitor was allowed to feed them and take some photos. The staff were all very nice and attentive. As a honeymoon couple, we were even allowed to take some photos away from the other tourists. Then we went bathing with the elephants and were allowed to rub them with mud. From what I’ve heard, there are a few elephant sanctuaries on Koh Samui. The animals there don’t have to “work” in the sense that they are chained up somewhere and have to carry tourists up mountains or walk in circles, which I think is very good. On the other hand, the elephants also have to be available for the tourists, let them pet them and bathe with them, which not every elephant wanted to do all the time. They have a large facility and are well looked after. I think everyone has to be aware of their own values. For me it was an interesting trip, but in my opinion I wouldn’t do it again because for me it’s similar to a zoo. I prefer animals in the wild, where they can follow their own will.
