Pura Vida is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 323 Moo 7 Pattaya Beach, Thailand
Went for two dives yesterday with Damian the dive master from Argentina. We went to Stonehenge and the Steps dive spots. Stonehenge is a must when you are diving in Koh Lipe. We saw a seahorse, seasnake, lion fish, box fish, cornet fish, giant buffer fish and many more. Corals are intact and colorful. The steps would have aber been good too but the current was to strong. Changed from one minute to the other. Dive equipment was in top condition and all healthy and safety regulations followed. Highly recommend them if you are planning to dive around Koh Lipe.
I took the OP with Galo and it went very well. He is skillful and kind, highly recommended. Additionally, another two dives with Demien went fine as well. I cant wait to be back.Missing all the doggos at the shop.
Good treatment, safe at all times, good explanations, unbeatable treatment and incredible experience for a first time diving.
Koh Lipe is located in National Park so single use plastics is forbidden. Pura Diving people are not totally aware of the regulation and give single Plastic for lunch for divers and wooden chopstick for rice that the instructors destroy after lunch so it’s not possible to reuse it. No one in the team of instructors know the rule and is able to take it in consideration when you tell them. They are afraid to tell it to the management. This contribute to the pollution in Koh Lipe, platic invasion, burning … Others diving club and restaurant can offer reuseable plastic for lunch.The boat is for some dive sites not enough big, very noisy and security can be an issue.
We arrived at the club, we were received by a super friendly Dutchman who speaks several languages, especially French for us.Thank you to our young guide who was adorable, without forgetting our charming princess at the reception, a blonde I don’t know their name but everyone was adorable, professional, caring.We were received like friends and had a great time.They offer several great activities.It really feels like home. Congratulations to all and thank you.They have two storesThe club is on the beach you can easily get to the city center and right next door
We decided to choose this diving center because of the proximity to our hotel and because they spoke Spanish. And we were right. Wow we were right! Very friendly and very professional staff. We did a refresher since it had been a while since we had dived and they gave us a review of the most important theory and a great first dive to remember all the basics. Thanks Aida! You are an instructor of ten!

I got the advance adventure. It has been a brutal experience, the dives are spectacular, a lot of marine life and in this time without many divers. My instructor has been Ivan, the best, but both Mikel and Jordi are super attentive and help you in whatever you may need. Super super recommended experience.
Beautiful dives a few steps from the club; good equipment and attentive and friendly staff in a relaxed and professional atmosphere.I recommend to indulge in diving in relax mode.
It was our first time scuba diving so we were a little anxious to begin with. This feeling soon went away after we began discussing the basics with our instructor Sofia. She was thorough and detailed whilst also keeping a sense of humour and this definitely settled our nerves. Then we headed into shallow water to practice the skills we had discussed. The whole time it was just the two of us and our instructor which was great. We practiced the basics and safety protocols and once again Sofia ensured we felt safe throughout. We were then ready to dive deeper, and what an amazing experience it was. Sophia guided us every step of the way and was an amazing instructor as she pointed out cool looking sea creatures and big schools of fish. On our second dive we were able to go slightly deeper and again saw some amazing sea creatures and coral (much better than snorkelling!). Overall, it was an amazing experience that I would recommend to anybody and I would certainly recommend going with ‘Pura Vida’ who couldn’t have been better. We hope to see Pura Vida and Sofia again to finish our diving certification 🙂
