If you want a proper Thai, oil or foot massage then this is the place to come. The decor is not fancy, but the therapists are better than any 5 star hotel.
We stayed at the Peninsula and went to Ruen Namthip for daily massages. The Ruen Namthip is very clean, and the staff is polite, friendly and professional with the added bonus of reasonably priced massages for both men and women. Will definitely return.
The practitioners are very knowledgeable and they know their customers’ needs. It was a very relaxing and “nourishing” massage. I tried the oil massage and it was very good and professionally done as their practitioners were careful to cater to the needs of the customer.
This is a wonderful neighbhorhood spot for Thai massage, defiantly my favorite in the locality. It is clean, local and easy-going and I have had the best traditional Thai massages here over the years no keep comming back . The therapists are highly skilled and very professional. There is not a lot of English spoken but pick a treatment and be prepared for a wonderful session. Sawasdeeka.
We returned to Bangkok, stayed at the Peninsula and went to the Ruen Namthip over four days for foot, Thai and oil massages. The women masseuses are expert, polite, the salon is always clean, and the prices are extremely reasonable. I decided to write up another review because the workers there deserve to be commended.
Nearby Peninsula Hotel (5 minutes walk) and it seems all therapists are certified !? I saw many certificates hanged on the wall. I usually do 90 minutes Thai or Oil massage. Very skillful, not lazy (important), can communicate in English. Can walk in if therapists are available, but recommend to make reservation. I have tried few of other massage places on the same Charoen Nakorn road, most of them are amateur kind of massage. This one is a real one.
My husband and I have been there two days in a row, it’s hands down the best massage we’ve ever had!! We had oil massages, foot massages and a thai massage. We are at the Peninsula and plan to go every day we are here, it’s a highlight of our trip. Very clean, not fancy but super skilled body therapist, highly, highly recommend!! Best to have a reservation, especially on the weekend as they book up! I did it on their website, super easy!
I tried different kind of the massage treatments. They were all great. I had big issues with my neck and shoulder but after a couple of treatments it was much better.I also tried the foot massage and this was great too. Most of the time it was not necessary to make a reservation. But if you want to be sure that you get an appointment you better make one.
Really nice place for a real massage (not the weak SPA kind) Professional staff, clean and quiet. Serving complimentary herbal tea after treatment. 500 bath for 1 hour full body oil massage.Booking is recommended as it is a popular place.
Previously in my last visit to Thailand pre-pandemic this place was excellent. On my most recent visit in May it was pretty poor and the massage i got was 2 hours of poor technique. The place has slipped in quality and is not what is used to be
