First time trip to Bangkok. Thanks to Trip Advisor we found this small but great place to experience our first drag show. As a straight couple we found it accepting and a wonderful experience. The Queens gave a great show and gave 100% to a full bar. Wife and I ordered our drinks on arrival and we weren’t harassed to buy any more. The people in the crowd were a mixed blend and interesting to watch as much as the show! Well worth the trip. BTW – it’s hard to miss. It’s on the left side walking from the street about one third of the way down.
Good drag performances but “bartenders” walk around taking drink orders and they sometimes steal your money. Taking advantage of foreigners sadly. Would recommend the bar to the right of this place.
Very great vibes but way too crowded. I will come back next time when it’s less busy. The queens are amazing though
Came here with my partner on the second day of our trip. On the first day we went to the bar next door to the stranger bar. On the second day when we came here we noticed a huge difference in price and they require payment with each drink instead of opening a tab for you as all the other bars do. Found customer service to be ok!
Great location in the gay heart of Bangkok, Silom Soi 4. This was my first time the new stranger bar, bit not in soi 4. I have to say I was very disappointed. The staff were great, and most of the acts were great apart from one. Regrettably, one of the acts needed to politicise her show, wearing the colours of Palestine (fine) but then making a political statement. I may or may not agree with the sentiment, but when I visited a Showbar in Bangkok, I expect to see a show and not a politicised event, especially when I’m paying THB400 for it..
Pay 400 Baht to get in which gives you 2 drinks . Queens were really good . Staff friendly and good seating. Is right of end of soi 4 off Silom road

Friends and I were on a waitlist for a nice cocktail bar. We wandered to Stranger Bar, and decided to change our plans once we saw the Queens performing through the window. The floors are sticky and the drinks taste cheap, the dance floor is hot and crowded, but the Queens are beautiful and talented, staff friendly, and the played some classic 90s to dance to. We were all very happy with the change of plans.
