Our family enjoyed a lovely sailing day on the Bohemian with Markus and crew on the 27 Dec. From booking with Marc to pick up and the whole day of sailing was a wonderful and relaxing experience. We would definitely love to do it again!
We had a great time on board, it was the best day of our trip by far. Marc and his crew took incredible care to make sure we were comfortable down to the types of dishes we wanted to eat for lunch. If you’re thinking about chartering a boat to island hop, this is the place to do it.
We had a great day on catamaran Delight with my 7 friends March 12th. But I do have some commentaries and suggestions about some aspects – therefore I lowered my overall score.1. Boat – 4 out of 5The catamaran was good. Large enough for 8 people, though I cannot imagine how it could fit 40. The toilet leaves much to be desired. It was not very clean and the flushing was difficult and could not be performed without the crew’s help. Really enjoyed the kayaks.2. Crew – 5 out of 5Great people, very attentive and nice.3. Schedule – 3 out of 5Neither crew nor us knew how much time we had for each stop and activity. It was frustrating cause the crew didn’t speak English and we couldn’t communicate with them properly.4. Locations – 3 out of 5We first stopped at Racha island, then Coral island. And spent a lot of time on our first stop (cause we had no idea we could decide when to leave and the crew recommended us to have lunch there, but when we arrived at Coral island we realised it was a big mistake). Racha was not impressive at all, no fish, a lot of people, and a lot of plankton that bit you constantly. Coral island on the other hand was top notch. It was peaceful, with very few tourists, marvellous view, great snorkling, we wished we had lunch there and had more time to explore. I’d recommend to change the first stop to some other island or to have a more fixed schedule and not to spend much time on it.5. Food – 4 out of 5There was a lot of food at lunch, we couldn’t finish it all. And it was very simple, but very tasty. My wish here is to have more fruit and more different sorts of them. We had only pineapples and watermelon, but we all had like 1-2 pieces each. I wish we also had mangos and also something you cannot eat anywhere but Thai.6. Land team service – 3 out of 5At first the communication was good and very smooth and fast. But when it came to the payment – it became very bizzare and rushed. Anyway, we settled it and that was okay. I appreciated that they provided all inclusive service – from transfer to the boat and back to lunch and on trip activities. But then the day of the trip the driver arrived 30 minutes earlier and was rushing us to finish our breakfast and leave as soon as possible. The ride to the port was smooth in a good car with AC. Our guide then escorted us to the boat and left. I wish she told us the timing for each location and dinner, but she didn’t. When we came back from the trip – I had to contact the guide cause no one met us. And only then she called the driver and he came for us after 40 (!!) minutes of waiting. We were really disappointed with such a bad organisation. And it spoiled otherwise great day we were having.Overall, I’d recommend this company, but mind our experience and make sure you discussed the route, timing for stops and pick up procedure in advance. Also, I hope the team organising this experience will take into account my review and make the trips 100% enjoyable from start to finish.

Marcus and the team at Phuket Boat Charter were very helpful accommodating us for our short notice booking! The arrangement of pick up as well as drop off from our villa to the docks, then onto the catamaran was seamless! As a family traveling with little toddlers they helped us suggest the destinations and stops to take, and the crew onboard never ceased to help with fruits and drinks! I d recommend any families in Phuket looking for a great private boat trip out on a sea to travel with Catamaran Calypso! The kids loved being able to see the ocean below the hammock on catamarans and it was such a smooth ride out to sea. We will definitely sail with them again soon
I can’t recommend this experience highly enough, it was superb. Marcus was so helpful from the first point of us making an enquiry. He is really knowledgeable and was able to make suggestions about a boat and itinerary based on what we wanted – relaxation. We did a morning on a catamaran, going to coral island, where we stopped in quiet little bay for excellent snorkling and kayaking. We then visited Koh Mon, a tiny island that we kayaked around. The crew on the boat were excellent, really helpful, friendly and experienced. They communicated really well about timings. This was a real highlight of the holiday and I’m so glad we did this and went with this company. Thank you!
We had a really fabulous time sailing the Bohemian Catamaran! The crew members were fantastic and really fun people! Excellent service from them! We hope they were happy with the gratitude we offered. Everything was lovely and the food was really delicious too! Marc was super prompt and patient in arranging a really good experience for us!
We had a great day out on a private catamaran trip. Would definitely recommend. Crew were super helpful and accomodating to our requests.
Booked Hot Chilli for a whole 8 hours. And ticked the boxes for a personal masseur and SUP. Boat left immediately after we boarded and crew was very accommodating on asking where we wanted to go. Decided to follow their advice and it was an afternoon of boating, swimming, eating and drinking. Kudos to the Captain, deck hand, chef for attending to all the needs of our small family. It was just myself, wife and my 8 year old.We even managed to catch some local fish and the chef promptly converted it into a sashimi dish for the adults and a grilled dish for the kid..Going forward, will never ever go on a group boating trip. It has to be a private charter and it has to be with these guys !
Highly recommend Marcus, Marc and their team. Staff were so attentive. We had a fantastic time. All snorkel equipment as well as stand-up paddleboard and kayak were included.
