วัดถ้ำปู่หล้า เป็นวัดเงียบสงบอีกแห่งหนึ่งที่อาจจะไม่มีชื่อเสียงเหมือนวัดอื่นๆในแถบอำเภอสังคม จังหวัดหนองคาย แต่เป็นวัดที่เพิ่งสร้างมาได้ไม่นานด้วยกำลังศรัทธาของชาวบ้านในระแวกนั้น เอกลักษณ์ที่เห็นได้ชัดเจนและแตกต่างจากที่อื่นก็เห็นจะเป็นโบสถ์ของวัดนี้ ซึ่งสร้างด้วยไม้ทั้งหลัง และมีรูปแบบสถาปัตย์ที่ได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากวัดเชียงทองที่หลวงพระบาง สปป.ลาว ด้านในประดิษฐานพระประธานหินอ่อนแกะสลักสีขาว บริเวณภายในโล่งโปร่ง บริเวณรอบๆก็เงียบสงบ ปัจจุบันทางวัดมีพระสงฆ์เพียง 6 รูปและเจ้าอาวาส ทางวัดยังคงค่อยๆต่อเติมตกแต่งไปเรื่อยๆตามกำลังที่มี เหมาะสำหรับผู้ที่ศรัทธาในพุทธศาสนาจะร่วมบริจาคตามกำลังเพื่อให้วัดนี้ได้สร้างเสร็จสมบูรณ์ เป็นสถานที่ที่น่ามาเยือนเฉกเช่นวัดอื่นๆ
