Wat Tham Sumano is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Ban Na, Srinagarindra District, 93000, Thailand
ถ้ำสุมะโนห่างถนนสายพัทลุง-ตรัง ประมาณ 500 เมตร ภายในถ้ำมีหินงอกหินย้อย มีห้องโถงกว้างใหญ่ ร่มเย็นสวยงาม วิจิตรตาตามธรรมชาติ มีถ้ำสองชั้น และภายในถ้ำมีพระพุทธรูปปางต่างๆ ประดิษฐานอยูหลายองค์ นอกจากนี้แล้ว ยังเป็นที่วิปัสสนาของผู้ทที่มุ่งหาธรรมมะอีกด้วย
Les Sumano caves sont une belle suprise à l’occasion d’une pause sur la route Trang/Phattalung. Nous sommes restés 2 heures pour visiter toutes les grottes, aménagées, sécurisées, elles servent de lieu de culte. Tantôt immenses, parfois de tous petits couloirs. 2 grands sites, un 1er près du temple principal, le 2 ème après la passerelle suspendue, est beaucoup plus étendu avec une partie à l’extérieur côté jungle où on peut apercevoir de très belles lianes. On peut revenir sur le site 1 par les grottes sans faire demi tour, tout est connecté ! ou bien par la route à gauche après le petit temple extérieur si on veut éviter de repasser par les grottes. Venir avec lampes torches pour profiter de tout le site. Présence de singes à l’extérieur, garder ses distances, et chauves souris parfois en très grand nombre sur le 2eme site, éviter de diriger les lampes sur elles.
