Unexpected driving experience, splendid view, fresh forest fragrant. Wouldn’t believe the scene that it is really from an Up-to-u payment accommodation :)Love love
Was there during New Year so the place was too crowded. Plan to come back some other time not on holidays since the cabins for rent from the park service seems like a good place to relax and enjoy the panorama. The vista consisted of mountains being deforested for corn growing which is somewhat sad considering the environmental effects it had caused.
Khun sathan national park is one of the attractive places in Nan. Most of traveller shouldnt miss this place. It located near the top of mountain(1.3km above sea level) , therefore the weather here is very nice about 17-25 celcius. You can arrange a camping trip here , also if you choose to spend a night here you can make a camping fire and grill some foods or BBQ if you wanted. Having beers here also be a good choice for you . You can enjoy drinking beer in nice weather and see the star at night.
The access road to the camping site is very steep and the camping area occupies the top of the hill. Sadly, there doesn’t appear to be much of a National Park as human habitation is nearby with cultivated fields, towns and villages. The stars came out in all their bright glory after nightfall. However, there isn’t anything to do or see in the National Park from this location, except climb a very steep and slippery path that goes about 3.5 kilometres somewhere.
The place is chilled, with plenty of Thai cherry blossoms to see, but the views are gorgeous all the way (the flowers are only on this side).
