โบสถ์หลังนี้เริ่มต้นมาจากการทำเป็นเนอร์สเซอรี่ของบาทหลวงต่างชาติในปี 2518 และขยายมาเป็นโรงเรียน โดยมีโบสถ์หลังน้อย ๆ อยู่ในโรงเรียน และเริ่มสร้างเป็นโบสถ์ที่ถาวรด้วยเงินสนับสนุนของสัตบุรุษที่เป็นคาทอลิกในพื้นที่จนในปี 2560 จึงแล้วเสร็จ โดยอาจารย์จากจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย 3 ท่าน อาจารย์สรายุทธ ทรัพย์สุข เป็นสถาปนิก อาจารย์ฉัตรชัย พงศ์ไทย เป็นวิศวกรโครงสร้าง และอาจารย์ชมัยฉัตร พงศ์ไทย ออกแบบตกแต่งภายใน เนื่องจากอำเภอนางรอง จ.บุรีรัมย์มีศิลปะและวัฒนธรรมแบบขอม มีปราสาทหินพนมรุ้งที่มีชื่อเสียง การออกแบบโบสถ์หลังนี้จึงเป็นศิลปะผสมผสานระหว่างศิลปะท้องถิ่นกับศิลปะของคาทอลิกแบบโกธิค โดยหลังคาเป็นแบบปราสาทหิน ส่วนซุ้มประตูและหน้าต่างเป็นแบบโกธิค มีกระจกสีที่จะแสดงภาพอย่างชัดเจนยามต้องแสงอาทิตย์ และเปลี่ยนไปตามแสงของแต่ละเวลา ฝ้าเพดาน กรอบประตูหน้าต่าง ม้านั่งในโบสถ์ รูปกางเขนและรูปพระมารดานิจจานุเคราะห์ทำจากไม้สักอย่างดีทาสีให้เข้ากับสถาปัตยกรรม พื้นเป็นหินขัดลายหินอ่อนที่นำแบบมาจากพื้นภายในมหาวิหารนักบุญเปโตรที่กรุงโรม (St. Peter’s Basilica) ผนังเป็นหินล้างมีแสงวับแวมสวยงามยามเช้าสายบ่ายเย็นวัดก็เป็นแบบหนึ่ง ยามค่ำคืนเมื่อเปิดแสงไฟ วัดก็สวยงามอีกแบบหนึ่ง เป็นวัดที่สวยงามทั้งภายนอกภายใน เหมาะสำหรับบำรุงจิตใจให้ผ่อนคลายจากปัญญาที่เร้ารุม สวยงามยิ่งนักค่ะ
