Average shopping place, prices are higher than others. Offer limited. Place have good location so you can always step by. Facilities are okay, toilet, bars, fisherman village just steps away.
I total the place looks really nice especially at night time and with the acoustic live music, the price is quite expensive than most of the shops outside the warf, but the best for me is that they have a small playground that you can live the kids and play safely.
Every time I visit it gets more emptier. Mostly 85% empty now. So terribly sad!it should be buzzing, it should be the life and soul of Fishermans. It is not.Bring the craft shops in, bring the cheap food in, lower the rents, make it a place to come day and night, bring the tourists in
85% of the shops are empty. No food court. Looks like Chernobyl in a tropical place. Typical business development gone bad. Only moderately looking place in this maze was on the fisherman main road where there is a charming french cafe in-front of Coco Tams and amazing world class bar on the beach.
Going down hill fast, when it first opened it was buzzing with many customers & different shops, sadly most of the shops are now closed & few restaurants , but it has lost its feel I think
Went in the afternoon for a stroll. From carpark to the entrance, saw many shops had closed down but when we walked further in, there’s a road facing a row of restaurant with nice architectural design and nice view. We kept walking and realised the road lead us to Elephant walk with shops further down to explore. When we are walking back towards the carpark, the other way will bring you fisherman’s village. Nice spot found but I have not seen any halal eateries at the Wharf. Perhaps have to continue to explore further down to see. Please note if u r tired, come another day to spend time enjoying this place so you dont waste your time walking half way like me. I am sure there’s alot of shops further down when you walk after the elephant walk street.
Lots of closed stores. Nor really worth the visit. At least not when the there is no Night Market. If so it can ben nice but very crowded
Grab the kids and family, pack your day bag and don’t forget your stroller. A great afternoon of strolling filled with window shopping, walking and playing at the beach and eating …. All with a spectacular view.
Sadly since Covid majority of the shops have closed at the wharf. The playground there hasn’t been looked after so now has a broken slide and litter around it. The Fisherman’s Village walking street is still worth a visit, but hopefully as tourists return to the area the shops in the Wharf complex will be able to reopen.
That place is basically dead, the surranding area is still a life, most of the shops are closed. Not really unedstandable why, coz it would be a great place.
